Taylors Youth League

Thank you for visiting the Taylors Falcons Youth Association website. We were founded in 1971, which makes us one of the oldest youth organizations in the Upstate. We are of the belief that organized sporting events are a mainstream component of modern society, and can be found anywhere you look. Football and cheerleading provide countless hours of entertainment for the young, and old alike. With young children, sports can mean numerous lessons in life; team work, sportsmanship, and physical conditioning to name a few. Children are the lifeblood of our future and one of our country's most valuable assets. It is the responsibility of the entire community to ensure that they are nurtured physically, mentally, and emotionally. We at the Taylors Youth Association take that commitment very seriously. We strive to ensure that all children are given equal opportunity to achieve their utmost potential.

Our goal as an organization is to teach our kids the fundamentals of football and cheerleading and prepare them for the future endeavors in their respective sport. We want our athletes to love their sport and have fun while learning it. Our organization is not all about winning, but learning to work together as a team and having fun while playing a sport.

We offer football and cheerleading for ages 6-13, with signups starting in March of each year which run thru June. Our organization also offers athletes the opportunity to rent shoulder pads, helmet with team logo and game football pants at a very reasonable fee. To our knowledge, we are the only organization in the Taylors areas which has this program for its athletes. We also offer a one day football and cheerleading camp in June and conditioning practice starts in mid-July. The first games usually start after Labor Day. We have our annual fundraising "Bowl Day" in October, where all of our teams come together in one day and showcase their abilities. Our season usually winds itself down towards the end of November, with our Falcon Banquet. At the banquet, we recognize all our athletes and their accomplishments together as TYA Falcons.
